Stellar Farm proudly offers a comprehensive riding program with focus on Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation techniques, as well as foundational Dressage training and some dabbling in Eventing for fun. Our curriculum is designed to accommodate riders of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
Stellar Farm is a very friendly barn community that prioritizes love of horses and kindness above all. Competition is done for fun and not for status at our barn. Our people love to just socialize at the barn, getting together outside of the barn for pot-lucks or Stock Show events, and helping each other out with barn chores.
Whether you are looking to improve your technique or are just entering into the equestrian world, our program is designed to support and guide you every step of the way.

Meet Your Trainer
Marline Malic-McKernan has been working with horses since she was 9 years old but was horse crazy since before she even remembers. She has had experience training in a number of English disciplines as well starting and training green horses. Marline worked as a trainer at another lesson facility before turning horses back into a hobby and riding with Cinnamon for many years. But, when Cinnamon needed to pass on the care of the Stellar Farm horses and riders in order to focus on her health, Marline returned to professional status and carried the flag onward.
As a trainer, Marline builds adaptable and well-rounded riders who care for the longevity of their horses' physical and mental health. She values open-mindedness and always questioning what is best for the horse by continuing her own education with other professionals in the field.
Our Founder
Cinnamon Ricker founded Stellar Farm. She is a life-long equestrian and has been teaching and training for over 40 years. Cinnamon has trained with numerous top names in the industry from a number of disciplines. While her primary focus is in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation, Cinnamon highly values cross-training and incorporates dressage and eventing into her lessons as well. Cinnamon has a long history of starting horses and training horses and riders of all skill levels, breeds, and backgrounds.
What makes Cinnamon unique as a trainer is she taught her riders how to balance their own bodies and allow their horse to move their best. While some trainers focus on how to get the horse to do something, Cinnamon teaches her riders how to best serve the horse they have. Horses don't want to lug around an unbalanced, 100+ pound weight! Cinnamon builds riders who can control their body and biomechanics so as to prolong their equine partner's physical and mental health.
